Reversible Pattern Formation through Photolysis
Langmuir, 2006We report a photolytic method to induce spatial and temporal patterning/deposition of particles at the micron scale on a time scale of seconds. Reversible pattern formation by negatively charged particles occur around micron-sized silver features on different substrates when exposed to UV light in the presence of aqueous hydrogen peroxide ...

Pattern Reversal in Auditory Perception
The Journal of the Acoustical Society of America, 1971Perception of auditory patterns based on an intensity difference was tested in 30 normal subjects under binaural, monaural, and dichotic listening conditions. Each auditory pattern was made up of three temporally spaced white-noise bursts involving two elements, i.e., “Soft” (S) and “Loud” (L). Patterns included SLS, LSL, LLS, SSL, LSS, and SLL.
