Luminance Responses to Pattern Reversal
1973The stimuli used in many spatial contrast studies were accompanied by overall changes in luminance (for a review see Estevez & Remond, 1972). This implies that the responses to these stimuli might have been a mixture of components to (a) changes in spatial contrast and (b) changes in luminous flux.
