Epigenetic heterogeneity and plasticity in therapy‐induced tumor states through single‐cell multi‐omics

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Single‐cell multi‐omics reveals epigenetic heterogeneity across therapy‐adaptive tumor states, including quiescent/dormant, drug‐tolerant persister, and EMT‐like phenotypes. By linking regulatory features with state‐associated biomarkers, these approaches inform biomarker‐guided therapeutic strategies for evolving tumors.

Facile preparation of magnetic Zr-MOF for adsorption of Pb(II) and Cr(VI) from water: Adsorption characteristics and mechanisms

Chemical Engineering Journal, 2021
A novel magnetic Zr-MOF named Ni0.6Fe2.4O4-UiO-66-PEI was synthesized by modifying UiO-66-NH2 with Ni0.6Fe2.4O4 and polyethyleneimine and its sorption characteristics for two representing heavy metals Pb(II) and Cr(VI) in water were examined.

A novel modified method for the efficient removal of Pb and Cd from wastewater by biochar: Enhanced the ion exchange and precipitation capacity.

Science of the Total Environment, 2020
The purpose of this research was to improve the sorption ability of Pb and Cd by promoting the ion exchange and precipitation capacity of biochar. The adsorption performance and mechanisms of Pb and Cd in wastewater using coconut shell biochar modified ...

The PbPb collision

Nuclear Physics A, 1980
Abstract The reaction 208Pb on 208Pb was studied at bombarding energies of 7.0 and 7.57 MeV/u. One-particle inclusive measurements using a large-area position-sensitive ionisation chamber delivered the kinetic energy, charge and scattering angle of the reaction products.

Allanite U–Th–Pb geochronology by ion microprobe

, 2020
Allanite, an epidote group mineral, occurs as a common accessory mineral in igneous, metamorphic rocks and hydrothermal deposits. It contains radioactive elements Th and U, making it a valuable U–Th–Pb geochronometer for various geological processes. Due

Toxic effects of heavy metals Pb and Cd on mulberry (Morus alba L.) seedling leaves: Photosynthetic function and reactive oxygen species (ROS) metabolism responses.

Ecotoxicology and Environmental Safety, 2020
To explore the mechanism of how lead (Pb) and cadmium (Cd) stress affects photosynthesis of mulberry (Morus alba L.), we looked at the effects of different concentrations of Pb and Cd stress (at 100 and 200 μmol L-1), which are two heavy metal elements ...

Unsupported radiogenic Pb in zircon: a cause of anomalously high Pb-Pb, U-Pb and Th-Pb ages

Contributions to Mineralogy and Petrology, 1984
Ion microprobe U-Th-Pb isotopic analyses of zircons from a granodioritic orthogneiss from the Napier Complex, Mount Sones, Enderby Land, Antarctica, have identified an unambiguous example of unsupported radiogenic Pb in a 3,950 Ma-old crystal. At one 40 μm spot on the crystal an unusually large heterogeneity in Pb content was found, the concentration ...

Surface electronic structure of Pb(001), Pb(110), and Pb(111)

Physical Review B, 1994
We report the results of surface electronic-structure calculations for the three low-index faces of elemental Pb. To our knowledge, these are the first calculations for the Pb(110) and Pb(111) surfaces addressing their electronic structure. The underlying bulk crystal is described by a realistic second-nearest-neighbor empirical tight-binding ...

PbPb and UPb geochronology of carbonate rocks: an assessment

Chemical Geology, 1994
Recent application of carbonate PbPb and UPb geochronology has made an important contribution to the dating of primary deposition (strictly speaking, early diagenesis) or metamorphism of sedimentary sequences. The present article summarizes some highlights of this development, discusses the functioning of carbonate UPb and PbPb chronometers, and ...
