Electrical Properties of Nb-Doped PZT 65/35 Ceramics: Influence of Nb and Excess PbO
Journal of Electroceramics, 2005The effect of Nb and excess PbO on the structural and electrical properties of conventionally prepared Nb-doped PZT 65/35 ceramics has been studied in this work. It is found that, from excess PbO contents as high as 4 mol%, the solubility limit of Nb in PZT occurs below 4 mol%, while a secondary prevoskite-like phase develops in the dielectric system ...

Abstract Y-doped Sr 0.5 Pb 0.5 TiO 3 semiconducting ceramics were fabricated by adding excess PbO and controlling the sintering conditions. Their room temperature resistivity ( ρ RT ) is 10 1 Ω cm and there is a jump of about five orders of magnitude in resistivity, showing the positive temperature coefficient of resistance (PTCR) effect.

A study on abnormal electric properties of lead lanthanum titanate thin films caused by excess PbO
Thin Solid Films, 1999Lead lanthanum titanate(PLT) thin films with excess PbO were prepared by metal organic decomposition (MOD) process. The C-V characteristics and ferroelectric properties of the PLT films were investigated as functions of amount of excess PbO.The normal P-E hysteresis loops and butterfly shape C-V curves were obtained for the PLT films with stoichiometric

(Pb0.87La0.02Ba0.1) (Zr0.7Sn0.24Ti0.06)O3 (PLBZST) antiferroelectric ceramics with the addition of 0–9 wt. % excess PbO were fabricated by the conventional solid-state reaction process, and their microstructure, dielectric, and pyroelectric properties were systemically investigated. When excess PbO content was less than 9 wt.

Lead zinc niobate–lead zirconate titanate thick films with a thickness of 50–100 μm were deposited on silicon and alumina substrates using the aerosol deposition method. The effects of excess lead oxide (PbO) on stress relaxation during postannealing were studied. Excess PbO content was varied from 0 to 5 mol%

The effect of excess lead oxide and sintering temperature on the microstructure evolution in the templated grain growth (TGG) of the Pb(Mg1/3Nb2/ 3)0.67Ti0.33O3 (PMNT67/33) polycrystals was investigated. By adding excess PbO in the precursor of PMNT ceramics, the textured structure of PMNT polycrystals was obtained near SrTiO3 (ST) template by the ...

Compositional Change and Compositional Fluctuation in Pb(Zr,Ti)O 3 Containing Excess PbO
Journal of the American Ceramic Society, 1995Compositional changes which take place during sintering of Pb(Zr,Ti)O 3 (PZT) containing excess PbO were studied. The excess PbO forms a liquid phase during the sintering process. The solubility of the TiO 2 component of PZT in liquid PbO is higher than

As a method for lowering deposition temperature, the effect of 50% excess Pb addition in Pb(Zr0.52T0.48)O3 ceramic target on Pb(Zr0.52T0.48)O3 thin films (4000–5000 Å thickness) was studied. The PZT thin films were grown on Pt/Ti/SiO2/Si(100) substrates by using radio frequency magnetron sputtering method.

The excess [gamma] properties of metal cations (Cu⁺) in PbO-Cu₂O-SiO₂
2011Activities of Cu₂O in PbO - Cu₂O - SiO₂ slags have been measured by a slag-metal equilibrium. Excess properties of the cation were established from Temkin's rule using the measured Cu₂O and aO²⁻ data. Lnɤ Cu⁺ values were found to be directly proportional to the activities of silicate anions along lines of constant NPb²⁺/NCu⁺ ratio.
