Drought has severely impacted worldwide agricultural land, resulting in substantial yield loss and abiotic pressures in crops such as Chinese cabbage. Paclobutrazol (PBZ) and plant growth-stimulating bacteria have been extensively recommended to reduce a

Insight of PBZ mediated drought amelioration in crop plants
Water scarcity is a significant environmental limitation to plant productivity as drought-induced crop output losses are likely to outnumber losses from all other factors. In this context, triazole compounds have recently been discovered to act as plant growth regulators and multi-stress protectants such as heat, chilling, drought, waterlogging, heavy ...

Sunflower response to repeated foliar applications of Paclobutrazol [PDF]
Paclobutrazol (PBZ), a well-known growth retardant of the triazole family, is mostly used for controlling plant size and growth, resulting in more desirable compact plants for floricultural purposes; however, limited experimental data are available for ...

Our experiment was conducted to understand the effects of foliar sprays of paclobutrazol (PBZ), its mixture with abscisic acid (ABA), or water (control) on leaf carbon-use efficiency (CUEl), photosynthesis, and respiration of Euonymus japonicus seedlings.

PBZ*-Lattices: Structure Theory and Subvarieties
We investigate the structure theory of the variety of PBZ*-lattices and some of its proper subvarieties. These lattices with additional structure originate in the foundations of quantum mechanics and can be viewed as a common generalisation of orthomodular lattices and Kleene algebras expanded by an extra unary operation.

Paclobutrazol (PBZ) is a plant growth inhibitor and fungicide, but it is also carcinogenic and teratogenic, and has potential harm to human health. In this study, two PBZ haptens (PBZ-1, PBZ-2) were synthesized and conjugated with carrier proteins to get
