Cryogenic Carbon Monoxide Oxidation on Cuprous Oxide

open access: yesAngewandte Chemie, Volume 138, Issue 1, 2 January 2026.
A reconstructed Cu2O surface with pyramidal units (PY) contains both adsorption and reaction sites for CO oxidation. A suite of spectroscopy techniques and calculations were used to characterize the fundamental surface chemistry occurring below 100 K, where typically a metal/oxide interface is required.

Safety and efficacy of the therapy with CD4 + CD25highCD127‐T regulatory cells: When paediatric patient becomes adult

open access: yesDiabetes, Obesity and Metabolism, Volume 28, Issue 2, Page 1392-1402, February 2026.
Abstract Aim CD4 + CD25highCD127‐T regulatory cells (Tregs) remain a drug candidate for immunotherapy of type 1 diabetes. We completed three trials testing Tregs in recently diagnosed type 1 diabetes children. Here, we looked for long‐term safety and efficacy aspects important in the authorisation of this therapy.

Connecting the Atlantic Meridional Overturning Circulation to the Southern Ocean Following the Closure of Equatorial Seaways During the Cenozoic

open access: yesGeophysical Research Letters, Volume 53, Issue 2, 28 January 2026.
Abstract Global ocean circulation regulates climate and has undergone significant changes over the Cenozoic. Today, the Atlantic Meridional Overturning Circulation (AMOC) is driven by North Atlantic Deep Water (NADW) formation and Southern Ocean upwelling.
