Increase in C-reactive protein in the serum of piglets (pCRP) following ACTH or corticosteroid administration.

Journal of Veterinary Medicine, Series B, 1998
SummaryA new isolation procedure for porcine C‐reactive protein (pCRP) by affinity chromatography and ion‐exchange chromatography is described. Antisera against this protein were raised in rabbits. Immunochemical methods indicate a close immunological relationship of pCRP to human CRP (hCRP).

Monomeric CRP and negative acute phase proteins, but not pentameric CRP, as biomarkers of major depression and MDMD

Acta Neuropsychiatrica
Background: Contrary to the negative acute-phase protein (APP) response, there is no consistent correlation between serum pentameric C-reactive protein (pCRP) and major depression (MDD).

Statistical properties of a partially coherent radially polarized beam with elliptical vortex structure in oceanic turbulence

Optical Engineering: The Journal of SPIE
. Using the extended Huygens-Fresnel integral method, we have derived an analytical formula for the cross-spectral density matrix of a partially coherent radially polarized (PCRP) beam with elliptical vortex structure, (i.e., PCRP elliptical vortex beam,
