Powder Optimization Strategies for Binder Jetting Printing of BaTiO3 and Ba0,6Sr0,4TiO3 Ceramics
Powder optimization is investigated to enable binder jetting of BaTiO3 and Ba0.6Sr0.4TiO3 ferroelectric ceramics. The antagonistic relationship between flowability and binder compatibility is addressed through binder impregnation of granulated powders and fumed silica addition to fine powders.

Erosion Wear and Flow Characteristics of Tri-eccentric Butterfly Valves under Liquid‒solid Two-phase Flow [PDF]
Excellent sealing performance drives the tri-eccentric butterfly valve’s extensive adoption across wastewater treatment sector. Erosion wear is an important cause of leakage and damage in tri-eccentric butterfly valves.

Interstellar helium in interplanetary space [PDF]
The velocity distribution function of He(+) in the solar wind at 1 AU is calculated with the assumption that the source is photoionization of a cold (T = 100 K), neutral interstellar wind.

Monitoring of the water particle velocity field near the seabed under different wave and tidal scenarios: a real case [PDF]
Monitoring of water particle velocity on the sea bed is crucial to study morphological shore changes in a coast at intermediate and shallow water depth under progressive surface waves and tidal flow current. Therefore, 3-D particle velocity was monitored

This study investigates laser‐based oxide removal of Cu inserts in oxygen‐free conditions and examines long‐term oxidation kinetics and surface chemistry under different atmospheres via X‐ray photoelectron spectroscopy. Al–Cu compound casting with differently oxidized surfaces is performed, and intermetallic phase formation, morphology, and thermal ...

Blasting vibration velocity prediction of open pit mines based on GRA-EPSO-SVM model
The peak value of blasting vibration in open pit mine is the main index to evaluate blasting effect. In the scene of coal and rock interbedded blasting in open-pit mine, aiming at the problems that the existing prediction methods of blasting vibration ...

Scaling behavior in the convection-driven Brazil-nut effect
The Brazil-nut effect is the phenomenon in which a large intruder particle immersed in a vertically shaken bed of smaller particles rises to the top, even when it is much denser. The usual practice, while describing these experiments, has been to use the

Assessing Altered Coating Adhesion on Plasma‐Deoxidized Surfaces Under Oxygen‐Free Conditions
This study demonstrates the effectiveness of atmospheric pressure plasma pretreatment in modifying silicon and stainless steel surfaces to improve adhesion. Argon‐hydrogen plasma increases surface roughness and improves adhesion strength, whereas pure argon results in smoother surfaces and structural changes.

Finite temperature damping of collective modes of a BCS-BEC crossover superfluid
A new mechanism is proposed to explain the puzzling damping of collective excitations, which was recently observed in the experiments of strongly interacting Fermi gases below the superfluid critical temperature on the fermionic (BCS) side of Feshbach ...
