Studies on a trematode parasite of pearl oyster, II. Its effects on pearl oyster as the first intermediate host

1) セルカリアの寄生をうけたアコヤガイの生理状態の周年変化ならびに寄生虫貝から産出された真珠の品質について，正常貝のそれらと比較検討した。 2) 貝殻重量にたいする閉殻筋重量の割合をアコヤガイの生理状態をあらわす指標としてその周辺変化をみると，寄生虫貝はセルカリアの成熟，泳出の時期である９～10月に生理状態に著しい低下がみられる。 3) 前年罹病の寄生虫貝を母貝として使用すると，施術後の斃死率が極めて高く，産出される真珠も「きず珠」，「薄巻き珠」の出現率が高い。ピース貝として使用した場合にも「薄巻き珠」
