Fabrication of nanostructured pearlite steel wires using electropulsing [PDF]
This work reports the refinement of pearlite structure into nanostructure using electropulsing. Nanostructured pearlitic steel wires possess nanoscale lamellae or nanoscale grain microstructures.

SPD Deformation of Pearlitic, Bainitic and Martensitic Steels
The deformation behavior of nearly fully pearlitic, bainitic and martensitic steels during severe plastic deformation is summarized in this paper. Despite their significantly different yield stresses and their microstructures, their hardening behavior during SPD is similar.

Effect of the Microstructure on the Wear Resistance of a Pearlitic Steel [PDF]
Despite the experimentation of bainitic and martensitic microstructures in wheel-rail steels, pearlitic microstructure remains dominant in railway track.

Processes, microstructure and properties of vanadium microalloyed steels [PDF]
Vanadium as an important alloying element in steels was initially associated with the properties achieved following tempering. Interest in the microstructure was stimulated by the advent of transmission electron microscopes with a resolution of ~1nm ...
