Preparation of nanocrystalline ferroelectric BaBi4Ti4O15 by Pechini method
Materials Letters, 2006A gel was formed when an aqueous solution of BaCl2, BiNO3, TiOCl2 and citric acid in stoichiometric ratio is heated on a water bath. This gel on decomposition at 600 °C produced the nano crystallites of ternary oxide, BaBi4Ti4O15 (BBT). The phase contents and lattice parameters were studied by the powder X-ray diffraction (XRD).

Modified Pechini synthesis of hexaferrite Co2Z with high permeability
Materials Letters, 2012Abstract Magnetic ceramic hexagonal ferrites with strong magnetocrystalline anisotropy are considered for application in high frequency antennas. In particular, Ba 3 Co 2 Fe 24 O 41 (Co 2 Z) is expected to exhibit a high permeability and low loss at frequencies > 1 GHz.

Chemical Synthesis by Pechini Method for Obtation of ZnO Varistors

Synthesis and luminescent properties of YGG:Tb phosphors by Pechini method
Journal of Luminescence, 2007Abstract A novel green phosphor Y 3 Ga 5 O 12 :Tb (YGG) was successfully synthesized by Pechini method. Nickel-oxide-yitria-stabilized zirconia (NiO-YSZ) powder mixtures were prepared using a Pechini-type sol-gel route. Metal chlorides/nitrates and citric or ascorbic acid were used to prepare the metal-carboxylic acid complexes. Their subsequent polyesterification with ethylene glycol at moderate temperatures yielded a homogeneous polymer resin.
