Synthesis of CeNb3O9 perovskite by Pechini method

Materials Letters, 2018
Abstract Pechini method was applied for the first time to synthesize CeNb3O9 perovskite at different calcination temperatures (600, 800 and 1000 °C). A solution of water, citric acid, ethylene glycol, ammonium niobium oxalate and cerium ions was polymerized and calcined at 300 °C for 2 h.

Synthesis of Barium Titanate by a Basic pH Pechini Process

open access: yesMRS Proceedings, 1992
ABSTRACTBarium titanate powders and thin films have been processed by the conventional acid pH Pechini process and a modified basic pH Pechini process. Higher pH of the starting solution resulted in significantly finer grains in the sintered thin films.

Modified Pechini synthesis of tricalcium aluminate powder

Materials Characterization, 2012
Abstract Tricalcium aluminate (Ca 3 Al 2 O 6 –C 3 A) was obtained by a modified Pechini synthesis in order to eliminate successive thermal treatments and intermediate grinding usually performed between the two sintering steps and in order to reduce the sintering temperature. Our results indicated that pure C 3 A was obtained, by a single step thermal

Seeding of PMN powders made by the Pechini method

open access: yesCeramics International, 2001
Abstract The partial oxalate method, with the columbite route, associated with the Pechini method, was used to obtain a very fine ceramic powder at low temperature. Using this route it was possible to obtain a very reactive powder and to synthesize a lead magnesium niobate (PMN) powder with up to 100% of perovskite phase at a lower temperatures than ...

La2Cu0.8Co0.2O4+δ by Pechini Method

Surface Science Spectra, 2009
Cobalt-doped lanthanum cuprates of the type La2Cu1-xCoxO4 are Ruddlesden-Popper compounds characterized by several interesting properties. In particular, thanks to the presence of copper and cobalt, they can be utilized as catalysts in redox reactions.
