The blue phosphor Sr2CeO4 synthesized by Pechini’s method

Journal of Alloys and Compounds, 2001
Abstract Blue emitters are very attractive research subjects because of their possible industrial applications as phosphors for field emission displays. Recently, a blue phosphor, Sr 2 CeO 4 , was identified by a combinatorial materials synthesis technique.

Modified Pechini method by PVP addition for Nd:Gd2O3 nanophosphors fabrication

Ceramics International, 2021
Abstract Gadolinium oxide nanopowders doped with neodymium were prepared via modified Pechini method based on double stabilization of nanoparticles. Polyvinylpyrrolidone was used as an additional stabilizer at low-temperature stage of synthesis. This polymer also acts as a fuel during thermal treatment of precursors.

Europium(III)-containing zinc oxide from Pechini method

Journal of Alloys and Compounds, 2002
ZnO:Eu3+ (0.1 and 3 at%) with average particle size of 500 nm were prepared by the Pechini method. Photoluminescence spectroscopy evidences that there is no energy transfer between ZnO and Eu3+ ion. The emission spectrum at 77 K shows that Eu3+ ions occupy at least three different sites in ZnO:Eu 3 at% sample.

Nanocystalline ZnO films prepared via polymeric precursor method (Pechini)

Physica B: Condensed Matter, 2010
Abstract The polymeric precursor method (Pechini) was employed to prepare high-quality nanocrystalline zinc oxide (ZnO) films. Briefly, the process started off with the preparation of a coating solution by the Pechini process followed by a coating of the glass substrates by a dip-coating technique and subsequent heat-treatment of the as-deposited ...

La0.7Sr0.3MnO3 Nanoparticles Synthesized via the (Pechini) Polymeric Precursor Method

Journal of Superconductivity and Novel Magnetism, 2012
In this paper, we report the preparation of La0.7Sr0.3MnO3 colossal magnetoresistance nanoparticles by means of the polymeric precursor method, at a temperature of 650 °C. Rietveld refinement of the X-ray powder diffraction spectra shows that the chemically-synthesized manganite is single-phase with the space group R3C.

BaTi1–xZrxO3 nanopowders prepared by the modified Pechini method

Journal of Thermal Analysis and Calorimetry, 2007
The results reported here based on a study of BaTi1–xZrxO3 (x=0, 0.2 and 1) nanometric powders prepared by the modified Pechini method. The powder samples annealed from 600 to 1000°C/2 h were characterized by thermogravimetric analysis (TG), differential scanning calorimetry (DSC), X-ray diffraction (XRD) and scanning electron microscopy (SEM ...

Ethanothermal reduction to MoO2 microspheres via modified Pechini method

Journal of Crystal Growth, 2006
Abstract The Pechini process was modified to provide an ethanothermal reduction route to molybdenum dioxide microspheres at ambient temperature. The effects of citric acid (CA), ethylene glycol (EG), and H2SO4 environment on the formation of molybdenum oxide (MoO2) were studied.

Seeding of PMN powders made by the Pechini method

Ceramics International, 2001
Abstract The partial oxalate method, with the columbite route, associated with the Pechini method, was used to obtain a very fine ceramic powder at low temperature. Using this route it was possible to obtain a very reactive powder and to synthesize a lead magnesium niobate (PMN) powder with up to 100% of perovskite phase at a lower temperatures than ...

Synthesis of La0.8Sr0.2FeO3 perovskites nanocrystals by Pechini sol–gel method

Materials Letters, 2013
Abstract Pechini sol–gel method has been employed for the preparation of nanocrystalline La0.8Sr0.2FeO3 perovskite. The synthesis procedure was optimized by varying the calcination temperature. The results revealed the decomposition of the resin precursor and confirmed the formation of the perovskite phase starting at 600 °C with spherical morphology

Ultrafine CoAl2O4 ceramic pigment prepared by Pechini-sacrificial agent method

Materials Letters, 2016
Abstract Ultrafine CoAl 2 O 4 ceramic pigment is prepared by Pechini-sacrificial agent method (P-S) using nitrate as oxidant, glycine as fuel and active carbon as sacrificial agent. The obtained ceramic pigment was characterized by SEM, TEM, XRD and CIELAB colorimetric analysis.
