Composition and Diversity Characteristics of Gut Microbiota during the Development of Telchinia issoria (Lepidoptera: Nymphalidae)

open access: yesEcology and Evolution, Volume 16, Issue 5, May 2026.
Ramie (Boehmeria nivea) is a traditional economic crop of high commercial value, whose cultivation is threatened by the leaf‐feeding pest Telchinia issoria. This study investigated how the gut microbiota of T. issoria shifts across its larval, pupal, and adult stages using 16S rRNA amplicon sequencing. ABSTRACT Ramie (Boehmeria nivea) was a traditional

Enzyme Aided Peeling and Membrane Removal of Local Mandarins (Citrus Suhuiensis) [PDF]

open access: yes, 2004
A combination of pectinases and cellulases are able to selectively alter the albedo and segment membrane structure of citrus fruits and, hence, aid the removal of the peel, adhering albedo layer and also the segment membrane.

A Triterpenoid‐Enriched GLE70 Fraction From Ganoderma lingzhi Ameliorates Alcoholic Liver Disease via Multi‐Target Regulation

open access: yesFood Science &Nutrition, Volume 14, Issue 5, May 2026.
GLE fractions were prepared from Ganoderma lingzhi using gradient ethanol elution and evaluated for their biological activities. Among the fractions, GLE70 exhibited the strongest antioxidant and hepatoprotective effects. Integrated chemical characterization, network pharmacology, molecular docking, and in vivo validation suggested that GLE70 may exert

Activity of Pectinases in Conidia and Germlings of Blumeria graminis and the Expression of Genes Encoding Pectinases.

open access: yesJapanese Journal of Phytopathology, 1999
The production of pectinases and the expression of genes encoding pectinases by conidia and germlings of Blumeria graminis f. sp. tritici were investigated. By pectate plate assay, the activity of polygalacturonase was detected in homogenates from ungerminated conidia and germlings grown on an artificial substratum.
