Enhancing GARP Investing: Creating a New and Improved PEG Ratio
The Journal of Wealth Management, 2023In this article, we unveil a new factor to enhance alpha for GARP investing. Our factor significantly enhances the original PEG ratio with the following updates: we utilize free cash flow instead of earnings; we consider intangible assets; and we use a ...

The price-earnings-to-growth, or PEG, ratio is widely used by both individual investors and professional portfolio managers. This article explores the relationship between the PEG ratio and its determinants. The main conclusions are that (1) higher PEG ratios are consistent with correct valuation for firms with relatively low growth, for firms with ...

Cross-Sectional PEG Ratios, Market Equity Premium, and Macroeconomic Activity [PDF]
This article explores the information content of PEG ratios (price/earnings to growth ratios) for future aggregate returns and economic fundamentals. We first establish an analytic link between PEG ratios and time-varying expected returns of stocks. We then combine the link with empirical asset pricing models to extract market-wide information from ...

AbstractThe objective of this study was to investigate the bioactivity and protein‐resistant properties of dual functioning surfaces modified with PEG for protein resistance and corn trypsin inhibitor (CTI) for anticoagulant effect. Surfaces on gold substrate were prepared with varying ratios of free PEG to CTI‐conjugated PEG.

High price-earnings ratios are often justified by high growth rates in corporate earnings. In recent years, many analysts have turned to the ratio of the PE ratio to the growth rate (the PEG ratio) in an effort to control for this relationship. In fact, the PEG ratio is not a constant that can be used to decide whether a stock is cheap or not.

While an effective non-viral gene carrier, 25 kDa branched polyethylenimine (PEI) is cytotoxic, and decreasing its toxicity while maintaining its functionality is vital. Conjugation of carriers with polyethylene glycol (PEG) is a common approach to decreasing toxicity and improving biodistribution; however, the effect of PEGylation on PEI transfection ...

Effect of EDA/PEGDGE Mole Ratios on PEG-Based Hydrogel Scaffolds Properties
The synthesis of biocompatible hydrogel based on poly (ethylene glycol) (PEG) and ethylene diamine (EDA) using epoxy-amine chemistry was conducted. PEG was chosen as the base material (or monomer) to synthesise hydrogels in this study due to its high hydrophilicity, biocompatibility and low toxicity properties.

Thermal and rheological behavior of PEG-based nanocomposites: Effect of filler aspect ratio and size
In this work, polyethylene glycol (PEG) nanocomposites containing different nanofillers (namely boehmites and hydrotalcites) were prepared through melt compounding and their thermal and rheological behavior was thoroughly investigated. The obtained results showed that the two types of nanofillers interact in a different way with the polymer matrix ...
