On an analog of the peirce decomposition

Using the Jordan analogs of annihilators, the author gives equivalent algebraic conditions each of which may serve as a definition of \(AJW\)-algebra. Some theorem is established that replaces Albert's theorem in the case of general \(JB\)-algebras and generalizes the latter to some extent.

In 1904 Huntington [6] conjectured that every uniquely complemented lattice must be distributive (and hence a Boolean algebra). In 1945,R.P.Dilworth shattered this conjecture by proving that every lattice can be embedded in a uniquely complemented lattice [5].
