H2S‐Releasing Aspirin Nanoparticles Alleviate Endometriosis and Associated Anxiety

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Albumin nanoparticles loaded with an H2S‐releasing aspirin derivative (ACS14) hitchhiking neutrophils after intraperitoneal injection and preferentially accumulate in endometriosis lesions in mice. The treatment suppresses lesion growth by regulating PI3K/Akt and reduces inflammation by inhibiting NF‐κB.

Efficacy of EFAST-PS in pelvic trauma for the assessment of the pubic symphysis in emergency settings: a mini review

open access: yesEmergency Care Journal
The EFAST technique is a rapid ultrasound method introduced into ATLS guidelines since 2006 for the evaluation of trauma patients. It allows for the detection of free fluid in the abdomen, pericardial tamponade, and pneumothorax within 2 to 3 minutes ...

Integrated Ultrasound Device for Precision Bladder Volume Monitoring via Acoustic Focusing and Machine Learning

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
We present a conformable wearable ultrasound patch for noninvasive bladder volume monitoring. A flexible PZT array combined with a concave acoustic lens concentrates acoustic energy and improves depth selectivity through the anterior pelvic wall.

Omental metastases from uveal melanoma—An interesting intraoperative omental pattern appearance

open access: yesClinical Case Reports
Key Clinical Message Uveal melanomas represent approximately 5% of all human melanomas. Omental metastases are often diagnosed as secondary metastatic sites and only a few cases have been described as the first single manifestation of distant metastasis.

A new technique of percutaneous minimally invasive surgery assisted by magnetic resonance neurography: a retrospective analysis of 30 adults with moderate-to-severe gluteal muscle contracture

open access: yesBone & Joint Open
Aims: In order to release the contracture band completely without damaging normal tissues (such as the sciatic nerve) in the surgical treatment of gluteal muscle contracture (GMC), we tried to display the relationship between normal tissue and ...

Mapping CSC‐Mediated Ovarian Cancer Chemoresistance via CXCR4‐PET to Guide Precision Cisplatin Re‐Sensitization Therapy

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
CXCR4 functions as a potential cancer stem cell‐associated marker linked to chemoresistance in ovarian cancer, and an inhibitor of CXCR4, AMD3100, can enhance the cytotoxic response to cisplatin. Based on these findings, [68Ga]Ga‐Pentixafor positron emission tomography enables selective visualization of CXCR4‐high ovarian cancer, while AMD3100 combined

Aptamer‐Engineered Liposomal Platform Enables in Situ cDC1 Vaccination to Potentiate Immunotherapy in Prostate Cancer

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Prostate cancer is immunologically ‘cold’, with scarce, dysfunctional type 1 conventional dendritic cells (cDC1s) that limit T cell priming. We introduce an aptamer‐targeted liposomedelivering FMS‐like tyrosine kinase 3 ligand (Flt3L) and chlorin e6 (Ce6). Ultrasound induces antigen release and cDC1s recruitment, creating an in situ cDC1 vaccine.

Research on transverse acetabular fracture fixation using different plate attachment methods / Gūžduobės skersinio lūžio fiksavimo skirtingai išdėstytomis plokštelėmis tyrimas

open access: yesMokslas: Lietuvos Ateitis, 2015
The article deals with the problem of transverse acetabular fracture fixation using different plate attachment methods. A 3D model of pelvis and hip joint structure was created and the design of three different fixation plates using SolidWorks was made ...

POU2F1 Promotes Chemoresistance in Colorectal Cancer Cells via Attenuates the MDR2 Degradation Mediated by PPP1R11 Lactylation

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Schematic diagram of our study showing that highly expressed POU2F1 in colorectal cancer (CRC) can directly accelerate the cytosolic lactate export to decrease PPP1R11 lactylation at K59, thereby attenuating the E3 ligase enzyme activity and protein stability of PPP1R11, which inhibits the ubiquitination of MDR2 at K413 and K538 but increases the ...
