Amniotic-Fluid Ingestion Enhances the Central\ud Analgesic Effect of Morphine [PDF]
Amniotic fluid and placenta contain a substance (POEF) that when ingested enhances opioid-mediated analgesia produced by several agents (morphine injection, vaginal/cervical stimulation, late pregnancy, footshock), but not that produced by aspirin ...

The study reveals that glutaminolysis in macrophages is inhibited under type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) conditions, which impedes fracture healing by reducing bone morphogenetic protein 2 (BMP2) production through increased cytosine methylation on the promoter.

Acid‐Triggered Dual‐Functional Hydrogel Platform for Enhanced Bone Regeneration
In this study, HG‐AA1:1‐SDF‐1α composite hydrogel can respond to the acidic microenvironment to continuously release SDF‐1α, which recruited endogenous mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) and immediately metabolize Arg‐CDs into the bioactive nitric oxide (NO) in the presence of Ca2+, activating NO/cyclic guanosine monophosphate (cGMP) signaling pathway to ...

An Off‐the‐Shelf Artificial Proregenerative Macrophage for Pressure Ulcer Treatment
Artificial macrophages (artM) by encapsulating M2 lysates into biodegradable PLGA microspheres and coated with macrophage membrane, are engineered as new therapeutics against skin pressure ulcer. In mouse models, the artM exhibited robust tissue repair through cell recruitment and microenvironment modulation, showing great therapeutic potential for ...

This study introduces the SF‐ZIF@NA hydrogel system for osteoporotic bone defect treatment. The hydrogel inhibits osteoclast fusion by removing sialic acid and preserves the anabolic function of precursor osteoclasts (pOCs). It also releases Zn2⁺ in acidic conditions, promoting osteogenesis and angiogenesis.
