Peptides: Locally Active Peptides (“Vasoactive Peptides”)
1982Angiotensin may be considered the prototype of the so-called vasoactive peptides inasmuch as its predominant effect is on vascular smooth muscle, which is constricted by both direct and indirect effects of the peptide. However, angiotensin may affect contractility of much extravascular smooth muscle with a predominantly, if not exclusively, stimulatory

Peptide Vaccines and Peptide Therapeutics [PDF]
Peptide vaccines and Peptide therapeutics are increasingly entering into the focus of pharmaceutical companies. This section is intended to give a broad overview of areas of law that are particularly relevant to the patenting of peptide vaccines and therapeutic peptides as products and in compositions.

PEPTIDE–WATER ASSOCIATION IN PEPTIDE CRYSTALS
International Journal of Peptide and Protein Research, 1979The structures of 37 peptide crystals, containing 78 water‐peptide hydrogen bonds and 77 other hydrogen bonds involving water, were surveyed to identify the geometry of peptide backbone hydration. In the sample, hydration of peptide carbonyl occurred more frequently than hydration of peptide N–H. The most probable value of the C'=0.
