Phraseological Nature of Terminology Combinations in Russian Dialects (Through Don Dialects)

open access: yesSHS Web of Conferences, 2018
Areal study of the Don territory provides researchers with the evidences of ethnic culture. Uniqueness of the semantic development of Don dialect phraseology in a modern research paradigm is perceived as a reflection of a national language background of ...

Tumour–host interactions in Drosophila: mechanisms in the tumour micro‐ and macroenvironment

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
This review examines how tumour–host crosstalk takes place at multiple levels of biological organisation, from local cell competition and immune crosstalk to organism‐wide metabolic and physiological collapse. Here, we integrate findings from Drosophila melanogaster studies that reveal conserved mechanisms through which tumours hijack host systems to ...

Circular RNA expression landscapes in myelodysplastic neoplasms: Associations with mutational signatures and disease progression

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
In this explorative study, the abundance of circular RNA molecules in bone marrow stem cells was found to be elevated in patients with high‐risk myelodysplastic neoplasms, and to be associated with an increased risk of progression to acute myeloid leukemia.

Metastasis on pause: How dormant tumor cells stay hidden within the tumor microenvironment and evade immune surveillance

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Dormant cancer cells can hide in distant organs for years, evading treatment and the immune system. This review highlights how signals from the surrounding tissue and immune environment keep these cells inactive or trigger their reawakening. Understanding these mechanisms may help develop therapies to eliminate or control dormant cells and prevent ...

How forests may support psychological restoration: Modelling forest characteristics based on perceptions of forestry experts and the general public

open access: yesPeople and Nature
Spending time in forests benefits human well‐being, but the importance of forest characteristics on well‐being is unclear. This knowledge could help guide forest management decisions to improve outcomes for both people and nature. The overall aim of this

Generalization on uniqueness of non-linear dierential polynomials sharing 1-points

open access: yes, 2017
[[abstract]]In this paper, we generalize two theorems on the uniqueness of non-linear differential polynomials sharing 1-points, which improves a result of Indrajit Lahiri and Pulak ...

Finding novel vulnerabilities of hypomorphic BRCA1 alleles

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Synthetic lethality screens performed to identify novel vulnerabilities often model complete gene loss, thereby overlooking patient‐derived hypomorphic mutations. In this study, we have performed genome‐wide CRISPR screens on BRCA1 hypomorphic mutations, showing BRCA1I26A behaves like wild‐type, while BRCA1R1699Q mimics deficiency. Furthermore, we have

Uniqueness of Equilibrium in Two-sided Matching [PDF]

open access: yes
This paper analyses a sufficient condition for uniqueness of equilibrium in two-sided matching with non-transferable utility. The condition is easy to interpret, being based on the notion that a person’s characteristics both form the basis of their ...

Oncogenic DMTF1β promotes cancer cell motility by regulating autophagy through ULK1 stabilization

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
In the current study, we demonstrate that the oncogene DMTF1β regulates ULK1 stability by reducing its proteasomal degradation in cancer cells. This stabilization enables ULK1 to induce autophagy, which in turn facilitates cancer cell migration. Consequently, reduced DMTF1β levels lead to decreased autophagy and impaired cancer cell migration.
