Petrov type II perfect fluid spacetimes with vorticity
Classical and Quantum Gravity, 1985Summary: We present a stationary spacetime of Robinson-Trautman type containing a perfect fluid with vorticity and obeying the equation of state \(\mu +3p=\) constant. Einstein's equations are reduced to a single fourth-order partial differential equation in two independent variables. A special case of our spacetime refers to a static sphere of perfect

Uniqueness properties of purely magnetic LRS perfect fluid spacetimes
Classical and Quantum Gravity, 2002Summary: We show that all purely magnetic Petrov type D, irrotational, aligned perfect fluid spacetimes are locally rotationally symmetric class III by the Ellis classification. This result is combined with a similar theorem for purely magnetic Petrov type D, shear-free, aligned perfect fluid spacetimes.

Cosmic censorship in spherically symmetric perfect fluid spacetimes
Classical and Quantum Gravity, 1993Summary: We show that shell (crossing) singularities are at least marginally trapped, if the ratio of pressure and energy density tends to a non-zero constant for diverging energy density. This result gives strong support for weak cosmic censorship of shell crossing singularities, if a perfect fluid with physically realistic equations of state is ...

Conservation Laws for Asymptotically Perfect Fluid Spacetimes
In physics, conservation laws, like those for energy or momentum, are powerful tools that help us understand how systems evolve and interact. In general relativity, where spacetime itself is curved by matter and energy, defining such conservation laws becomes especially subtle and complex.openaire +1 more source
