Characterization of the Spectra of Periodically Correlated Processes
The main result proves that a tempered distribution \(F\) on \(R^{2}\) is the spectrum of a periodically correlated process with period \(T>0\) if and only if \(F\) is positive definite and \(F = \sum_{k} F_{k}\), where, for each integer \(k\), \(F_{k}\) is a uniformly bounded complex measure on \(R^{2}\) supported on the line \(L_{k}= \{ (s,s + 2 \pi ...

Organoids in pediatric cancer research
Organoid technology has revolutionized cancer research, yet its application in pediatric oncology remains limited. Recent advances have enabled the development of pediatric tumor organoids, offering new insights into disease biology, treatment response, and interactions with the tumor microenvironment.

In this study, we found that human cervical‐derived adipocytes maintain intracellular iron level by regulating the expression of iron transport‐related proteins during adrenergic stimulation. Melanotransferrin is predicted to interact with transferrin receptor 1 based on in silico analysis.

Testing for Additive Outliers in Seasonally Integrated Time Series [PDF]
The detection of additive outliers in integrated variables has attracted some attention recently, see e.g. Shin et al. (1996), Vogelsang (1999) and Perron and Rodriguez (2003). This paper serves several purposes.

Infinite-Centre Gibbons-Hawking Metrics, Applied to Gravitational Instantons and Monopoles [PDF]
We investigate the convergence of infinite-centre Gibbons-Hawking metrics, in the contexts of four-dimensional gravitational instantons and their applications, Kaluza-Klein monopoles and vortices, gravitational calorons, analytical extensions of Majumdar-

Calpain small subunit homodimerization is robust and calcium‐independent
Calpains dimerize via penta‐EF‐hand (PEF) domains. Using single‐molecule force spectroscopy, we measured the strength and kinetics of PEF–PEF homodimer binding. The interaction is robust, shows a transient conformational step before dissociation, and remains largely insensitive to Ca2+.

Ascidian Ciona larvae initially show strong clockwise tail twisting, which is largely corrected during development. However, a small residual twist remains. This study shows that organized helical myofibrils in tail muscles mechanically stabilize this residual asymmetry, preventing complete restoration of bilateral symmetry and revealing how embryos ...

ALTERNATIVE VERSIONS OF PERIODIC SYSTEM OF CHEMICAL ELEMENTS IN THE EDUCATIONAL PROCESS
The article addresses the problems relating to the use of the alternative periodic tables of chemical elements in studying of various chemical disciplines. The versions concerned are the so-called «short-form" table proposed by Dmitri Mendeleev and «long-
