Electrical manipulation of magnetization in magnetic heterostructures with perpendicular anisotropy

open access: yesJournal of Magnetism and Magnetic Materials, 2022
Magnetic materials with perpendicular magnetic anisotropy are significant for spintronics due to their potential to develop high-density magnetic memory with high thermal stability. Many methods have developed to manipulate perpendicular magnetization by electric current or electric field rather than magnetic field for realizing energy-efficient ...

Perpendicular magnetic anisotropy in Mn2CoAl thin film

open access: yesAIP Advances, 2016
Heusler compound Mn2CoAl (MCA) is attracting more attentions due to many novel properties, such as high resistance, semiconducting behavior and suggestion as a spin-gapless material with a low magnetic moment.

Engineered Heusler Ferrimagnets with a Large Perpendicular Magnetic Anisotropy. [PDF]

open access: yesMaterials (Basel), 2015
Synthetic perpendicular magnetic anisotropy (PMA) ferrimagnets consisting of 30-nm-thick D022-MnGa and Co2MnSi (CMS) cubic Heusler alloys with different thicknesses of 1, 3, 5, 10 and 20 nm, buffered and capped with a Cr film, are successfully grown epitaxially on MgO substrate.

Tunnel Junction with Perpendicular Magnetic Anisotropy: Status and Challenges [PDF]

open access: yesMicromachines, 2015
Magnetic tunnel junction (MTJ), which arises from emerging spintronics, has the potential to become the basic component of novel memory, logic circuits, and other applications. Particularly since the first demonstration of current induced magnetization switching in MTJ, spin transfer torque magnetic random access memory (STT-MRAM) has sparked a huge ...

Parallel and perpendicular cascades in solar wind turbulence

open access: yes, 2005
MHD-scale fluctuations in the velocity, magnetic, and density fields of the solar wind are routinely observed. The evolution of these fluctuations, as they are transported radially outwards by the solar wind, is believed to involve both wave and ...

Influence of Intermittency on the Energy Transfer Rate of Solar Wind Turbulence

open access: yesThe Astrophysical Journal Letters, 2023
The intermittency in the solar wind turbulence manifests itself in the anisotropic scaling due to the anisotropic spectral index and the intermittent level based on the extended P model. However, the influence of intermittency on the energy transfer rate

Tetragonal distortion induced perpendicular magnetic anisotropy in (Fe0.5Ni0.5)xRh(1_x )alloy thin films

open access: yes, 2021
We investigated the structural and magnetic properties of (Fe0.5Ni0.5)xRh1_x alloy thin films grown on MgO (100) substrate. The crystal lattice parameters of the alloy are tailored via the tetragonal distortion from the substrate by varying the ...

Composition‐Tuned Enhancement of the Anomalous Nernst Effect in FeCo–Pt Thin Films on Rigid and Flexible Substrates

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
Disordered (Fe50Co50)1−xPtx thin films exhibit a pronounced anomalous Nernst effect (ANE) with a strong composition dependence on both rigid and flexible substrates. The transverse thermoelectric response peaks near 22.5 at.% Pt, accompanied by enhanced αxy/σxy scaling, thermal transport, and ANE sensitivity.
