Multimodal Engagement Assessment in Children During Invented Story Paradigm With a Social Robot

A multimodal framework is proposed to assess children's engagement during storytelling interactions with a social robot. Gaze, physiological, and behavioral data are combined and validated against observer ratings. An automated gaze‐labeling strategy is introduced, and supervised classifiers achieve high accuracy. Introducing PNEUMA: A Hybrid Soft Pneumatic Fabric Bidirectional Actuation Module for Wearable Robotics

This study presents a soft pneumatic fabric bidirectional actuation module (PNEUMA) capable of generating high torque in both bending directions within a single integrated architecture. PNEUMA achieves up to 50 Nm with reduced inflation volume and a lightweight design.

A Whole‐Head Finite Element Model for Electrical Neuromodulation via Visual Brain‐Machine Interfaces

A multimodal, personalized head model is presented that integrates the entire visual pathway with surrounding tissues to simulate electrical stimulation of the optic nerve. In vivo validation in humans and goats, plus systematic component‐elimination analysis, demonstrates the high accuracy of the comprehensive model.

HNRNPU K181 Lactylation Drives Cervical Cancer Growth by Upregulating PHGDH and Reprogramming Serine Metabolism

Lactate in cervical cancer induces HNRNPU K181 lactylation, opposed by NAA50‐mediated acetylation and suppressed by Pazopanib. This lactylation enhances HNRNPU binding to PHGDH pre‐mRNA exon 1, maintaining exon 1‐containing transcripts and mRNA stability, thereby activating serine metabolism.
