Engineered ETS1‐Nanoconjugate Restores Immune Homeostasis through Dual Immune‐Vascular Modulation in Relapsing and Progressive Multiple Sclerosis

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, Volume 15, Issue 15, 17 April 2026.
The biomimetic nanoplatform IMNP (ETS1 pDNA/PBAE@ITP‐MM) undergoes targeted disassembly at inflammatory vascular sites to release the ETS1 plasmid (pETS1). This release initiates a cascade of effects that inhibit pathogenic pathways and support immune homeostasis. (Abbreviations: EndMT, endothelial‐to‐mesenchymal transition; EC, endothelial cell; TC, T

Surveillance of Circulating Bordetella pertussis Strains in Europe during 1998 to 2015 [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Clinical Microbiology, 2018
ABSTRACT One reason for increased pertussis incidence is the adaptation of Bordetella pertussis to vaccine-induced immunity by modulating its genomic structure. This study, EUpert IV, includes 265 isolates collected from nine European countries during 2012 to 2015 ( n = 265) and ...

Bordetella pertussis surveillance in England and Wales: 1995–7

open access: yesEpidemiology and Infection, 1999
Available data sources on disease due to Bordetella pertussis, including notifications, hospital admissions, deaths, and an enhanced laboratory-based surveillance system commenced in January 1994, were reviewed for the period 1995–7. Pertussis notifications continued their approximately 3-year cycle although at historically reduced levels.
