Conservation of Olfactory Avoidance in Drosophila Species and Identification of Repellents for Drosophila suzukii. [PDF]
Flying insects use olfaction to navigate towards fruits in complex odor environments with remarkable accuracy. Some fruits change odor profiles substantially during ripening and related species can prefer different stages.

HATS-11b and HATS-12b: Two transiting Hot Jupiters orbiting sub-solar metallicity stars selected for the K2 Campaign 7 [PDF]
We report the discovery of two transiting extrasolar planets from the HATSouth survey. HATS-11, a V=14.1 G0-star shows a periodic 12.9 mmag dip in its light curve every 3.6192 days and a radial velocity variation consistent with a Keplerian orbit.

The Distribution and Prevalence of the Alfalfa Blotch Leafminer (Diptera: Agromyzidae) in Illinois [PDF]
Surveys were made in 2001 and 2002 to determine the distribution and prevalence of the alfalfa blotch leafminer, Agromyza frontella (Diptera: Agromyzidae), and its primary parasitoids, Dacnusa dryas and Chrysocharis liriomyzae (Hymenoptera: Braconidae ...

This work presents a 3D Sb‐embedded hollow carbon nanofiber (Sb@HCF) host for ultra‐stable Na metal anodes. Experimental analyses and theoretical simulations clearly uncovers that in situ formed Na‐Sb alloy guides uniform Na deposition and serves as efficient ion transport highways. The Sb@HCF‐based cells achieve exceptional cycling stability in half‐,
