Mortality of Pesticide Applicators
Journal of Occupational and Environmental Medicine, 1979Information has been obtained on a cohort of professional pesticide applicators which will be followed prospectively. The cohort consists of 16,126 males employed for three months or more between 1967 and 1976 by any of three nationwide pest control companies.

Applications of Metabonomics in Pesticide Toxicology
Current Drug Metabolism, 2015Metabonomic studies quantitatively measure the small molecule metabolites and their intermediates in the biological samples (serum, urine or tissue extracts) and have gained wide applications in many fields, especially in toxicology. Pesticides are extensively used around the world and pesticide toxicity has become a serious threat to human health ...

Leaching of Pesticides from Fields with Recorded Pesticide Applications
International Journal of Environmental Analytical Chemistry, 2002During two winter seasons, 1998/99 and 1999/2000, drainage water was sampled each fortnight from four fields with recorded pesticide application. Water was analysed for a range of pesticides used on the fields. Two of the four fields were equipped with three vertical stainless steel tubes with screens at 1-1.3 m depths.

On the Timing and Application of Pesticides
American Journal of Agricultural Economics, 1973AbstractThe model developed by J. C. Headley to illustrate the entomologists' concept of the economic threshold is presented and criticized. A two‐variable model directed at the problems of optimal timing and pesticide application as well as optimal pest population level is presented.

Optimized Pesticide Application
Journal of Agricultural Engineering Research, 2000A deterministic Eulerian model of aerial pesticide application is introduced. Various assumptions allow the model to include transport of aerosol droplets with a continuous size distribution, vapour production, on-target deposition, off-target drift, and to consider interactions with plant canopies.
