Responsible Sourcing in the Agri‐Food Companies: Advancing Sustainability Through Inter‐Organizational Collaboration

open access: yesCorporate Social Responsibility and Environmental Management, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT This study examines how agri‐food companies integrate social and environmental issues into their sourcing practices through inter‐organizational collaboration. Applying the relational view theory, it maps best practices and key relational mechanisms.

Internet of Things (IoT) and the Environmental Sustainability: A Literature Review and Recommendations for Future Research

open access: yesCorporate Social Responsibility and Environmental Management, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT As the Internet of Things (IoT) surges forward, intersecting with an urgent demand for environmental sustainability (ES), digital technologies emerge as potent orchestrators of systemic transformation. Employing a subtle blend of bibliometric‐systematic literature review (B‐SLR) and qualitative insights, this research investigates IoT's ...

Recyclable Ligand‐Free Cobalt Catalyst for Alkoxycarbonylation of Chloroacetates

open access: yesChemSusChem, EarlyView.
The first recyclable homogeneous catalyst based on ligand‐free cobalt carbonyls for alkoxycarbonylation is reported here. Using the inexpensive precursor CoCO3, this system is shown to yield up to 99% alkoxycarbonylation of the C(sp3)Cl bond with nearly 100% selectivity.

Functional and phylogenetic convergence of winter and breeding bird communities in the northeastern US

open access: yesEcography, EarlyView.
Around the world, ecological communities are becoming more similar to one another in a process known as biotic homogenization – an increase in similarity among communities over time. While biotic homogenization has been widely studied among spatial communities, very little attention has been paid to beta diversity between seasonal communities ...

A C3‐Symmetric Diphenylethylendiamine‐Based Catalyst in the Asymmetric Michael Addition of α,β‐Unsaturated Ketones with 4‐Hydroxycoumarin and 4‐Hydroxyquinolin‐2‐One

open access: yesEuropean Journal of Organic Chemistry, EarlyView.
Two C3‐symmetric organocatalysts with multiple amino groups are prepared and employed in the asymmetric addition of 4‐hydroxycoumarin and quinoline‐2‐one to unsaturated ketones. The all‐amino version of the catalyst induces the better stereoselectivity and provides the products in up to 95% yield.

Molecular Iodine‐Mediated Functionalization of α‐Carbonyl Sulfoxonium Ylides with Thiocyanates, Xanthates, and Dithiocarbamates

open access: yesEuropean Journal of Organic Chemistry, EarlyView.
A method for synthesizing α‐xanthates, α‐thiocyanates, and α‐dithiocarbamates has been developed. By employing molecular iodine and the potassium salts of xanthates, thiocyanate, and dithiocarbamates, a wide range of products is obtained, with yields reaching up to 83%. Sulfoxonium ylides derived from esters, ketones, amides, heterocycles, and steroids
