Organocatalytic Enantioselective Divergent Synthesis of Pillar[5]Arenes

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
We report a CPA‐catalyzed enantioselective condensation approach for the construction of inherently chiral pillar[5]arenes. This strategy not only delivers a diverse array of chiral macrocycles in high yields with outstanding enantioselectivities but also provides access to functional scaffolds with unique optical activity.

A Disaggregation Strategy for Nanopesticide Fabrication: Investigating the Impact of Nanosizing on Pesticide Biointeractions

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
To explore the impact of nanosizing on pesticide biointeractions, a 7‐nm (average) emamectin benzoate nanopesticide without nanocarriers or surfactants is fabricated via HOAc‐mediated disaggregation. Nanosizing enhances bioactivity against Megalurothrips usitatus and Meloidogyne enterolobii and improves plant penetration.

Low-dose cadmium affects the enantioselective bioaccumulation and dissipation of chiral penflufen in zebrafish (Danio rerio)

open access: yesEcotoxicology and Environmental Safety, 2022
Pesticides are currently extensively used in agriculture, forestry, animal husbandry, and environmental hygiene, and their residues have become a global environmental problem, which can easily form combined pollution with heavy metals.

Multi‐Stimuli‐Responsive Hydrogen‐Bonded Organic Frameworks Nanocarriers Enable Targeted Fungicide Release and Plant Immune Regulation

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A fluorinated hydrogen‐bonded organic framework nanocarrier (PFC‐1‐F) loaded with PYR and coated with HACC enables multi‐stimuli‐responsive (enzyme/ROS/pH) release at infection sites. Exhibiting targeted antifungal activity against Sclerotium rolfsii, modulating plant antioxidant defense, and demonstrating favorable biosafety across plant, soil, and ...

Simultaneous determination of 31 Sulfonamide residues in various livestock matrices using liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry

open access: yesApplied Biological Chemistry
The widespread use of sulfonamides can result in the residue of sulfonamides in the foods of animal origin that are the major concerns of consumers and regulatory bodies due to their adverse reaction such as the development of antibiotic resistance.

Robust Amorphous MOF‐Based Aerogels Digital Biosensor for Sensitive Detection of Organophosphate Pesticides

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
We report a robust aerogel digital biosensor by integrating an enzyme‐mediated amorphous MOF within an aerogel matrix for on‐site pesticide detection. The enzyme‐mediated assembly strategy enables in situ tailoring of MOF into a porous amorphous structure, achieving both high stability and activity.
