Hibiscus Mutabilis‐Inspired Upcycled TPEE Films with Orthogonal Wavelength‐Controlled Spiropyrans for Dynamic Anticounterfeiting and Photoswitchable Conductivity

open access: yesSmall, EarlyView.
PET is upcycled into thermoplastic polyester elastomer (TPEE) films, integrated with orthogonal wavelength‐controlled spiropyran derivatives. These upcycled TPEE films exhibit dynamic anticounterfeiting and photoswitchable conductivity properties under different light conditions.

3D Nanoflowers of Binary Metal‐Selenide for Improved Electrochemical Sensing and High‐Energy‐Density Energy Storage

open access: yesSmall, EarlyView.
This study reports the hydrothermal synthesis of 3D NiVSe nanoflowers from NiSe nanoflakes and VSe nanobelts at 180 °C for 12 h. The hybrid structure enables dual functionality: ultrasensitive electrochemical detection of nilutamide with a detection limit of 0.2 nm, and high‐performance supercapacitor behavior with an energy density of 85 Wh kg⁻¹ at a ...

Iridium‐Based Mixed Transition Metal Oxide (Ir3MOx, M = Ni, Co, Fe) Incorporated in the Conducting Layer as an Electrocatalyst for Boosting the Oxygen Evolution Reaction

open access: yesSmall, EarlyView.
The Ir3MOx@CMI (M = Ni, Co, Fe) electrocatalysts are directly deposited on a titanium porous transport layer (Ti PTL), demonstrating an expanded active site and altered morphology of carbon matrix islands (CMI) and particle size due to the incorporation of transition metals.

Polarization‐Dependent Multiphoton‐Excited Self‐Trapped Emission in Alloyed 0D Rb7Bi3Cl16 Metal Halides via Sb3+ Doping

open access: yesSmall Science, EarlyView.
The zero‐dimensional metal halides Rb7Bi3Cl16 can achieve a transition from non‐luminescence to effective polarization‐dependent multi‐photon STEs emission after Sb3+ ion doping. The mechanism of high‐efficiency STEs in doped Rb7Bi3Cl16 is the non‐radiative recombination was suppressed, whose lifetimes changed from 93.9 ps to 3.6 ns after doping Sb3 ...
