An ETHYLENE INSENSITIVE3-LIKE1 Protein Directly Targets the GEG Promoter and Mediates Ethylene-Induced Ray Petal Elongation in Gerbera hybrida

open access: yesFrontiers in Plant Science, 2020
Petal morphogenesis has a profound influence on the quality of ornamental flowers. Most current research on petal development focuses on the early developmental stage, and little is known about the late developmental stage.

Probing the Challenge of P‐Type Semiconductors in Long‐Chain VOC Detection: 3D Micro‐Flower Zinc Cobaltate Heterojunction Sensors

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Fe@WO3/ZnCo2O4 n‐p heterojunction sensor exhibits excellent room‐temperature sensing toward tetradecane, with a low detection limit of 78.4 ppb and short recovery time. The good performance is attributed to synergistic effects from heterojunctions, heteroatom doping, oxygen vacancies, high‐energy facets, and theoretical validations.

Biomimicking Topographic Elastomeric Petals (E‐Petals) for Omnidirectional Stretchable and Printable Electronics

open access: yesAdvanced Science, 2015
Elastomeric petals directly replicated from natural rose petal are new versatile substrates for stretchable and printable electronics. Compared with conventional flat polydimethylsiloxane substrates, elastomeric petals have biomimicking topographic surfaces that can effectively inhibit the propagation of microcracks formed in the conducting layer ...

Dynamic Bonds Reinforced Polyamide Elastomer for Biomedical Orthosis

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A dynamic bonds (DBs) reinforced shape memory polyamide elastomer is developed using reactive extrusion. Dynamic covalent networks enhance interlayer adhesion in 4D‐printed objects by utilizing the combined effects of multiple DBs, reducing mechanical anisotropy and improving the mechanical and shape memory properties.

3D Topological Inorganic Electrides: Screening, Properties, and Applications

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
In inorganic electrides, zero‐, one‐, and two‐dimensional (0D, 1D, and 2D) interstitial anionic electrons interconnect within lattice cavities, collectively forming a three‐dimensional (3D) network, further coupling magnetism and topological features, leading to the emergence of 3D topological inorganic electrides.

Spatiotemporal Transcriptomic Atlas Reveals the Regulatory Mechanisms Underlying Early Inflorescence Development and Sex Differentiation in Spinach

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
High‐resolution spatiotemporal transcriptomic data from male and female spinach inflorescences across four key stages first reveal the sex differentiation initiates at the four‐leaf stage and is governed by epigenetic regulation via the SpMSI1‐SpHDT2 complex.
