A Comparative Study on Friction Performance and Mechanical Properties of Printed PETG Materials With Different Patterns

open access: yesJournal of Applied Polymer Science
ABSTRACTInvestigating the mechanical and wear properties of widely used PETG (polyethylene terephthalate glycol) filaments is important to understanding the material's performance, reliability, and suitability in different application areas. This study performed tensile and wear tests on PETG samples produced with a 3D printer using four infill ...

MXene‐Coated 3D Printed Horn Antennas for Ku Frequency Band

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Technologies, Volume 11, Issue 9, 6 May 2026.
An additive manufacturing approach to 3D printing horn antennas and coating them with Ti3C2Tx MXene is proposed. Rapid fabrication of lightweight, high‐performance antennas operating in the Ku‐band (12.4–18 GHz) has been demonstrated. The MXene‐coated antennas exhibit comparable electromagnetic performance to conventional, costly aluminum ones, with ...

Non‐Invasive Multidimensional Capacitive Sensing for In Vivo Traumatic Brain Injury Monitoring

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Technologies, Volume 11, Issue 9, 6 May 2026.
Single‐electrode, multidimensional capacitive sensors noninvasively assess cerebral autoregulation and compliance for traumatic brain injury monitoring. ABSTRACT Traumatic brain injury (TBI) is a major cause of death and disability, but invasive intracranial pressure (ICP) monitoring is risky, and current non‐invasive methods lack the resolution and ...

Complete Chloroplast Genomes of Ranunculus arvensis and Ranunculus laetus: Comparative Analysis and Phylogenetic Insights

open access: yesEcology and Evolution, Volume 16, Issue 5, May 2026.
Here, we de novo assembled the chloroplast genomes of Ranunculus arvensis and Ranunculus laetus, providing comprehensive comparative analysis with 21 congeners. The genomes exhibited conserved quadripartite structures with no major rearrangements, though lineage‐specific variations in atpH position were detected in two species.

Chloroplast Phylogenomics and Barcode Discovery in Medicinal Stachys Species Reveal Evolutionary Relationships and Adaptive Signatures

open access: yesEcology and Evolution, Volume 16, Issue 5, May 2026.
This study presents the first complete chloroplast genomes of two medicinally important Stachys species, S. persica and S. germanica. Comparative phylogenomic analyses revealed highly conserved genomes with lineage‐specific variations, identified hypervariable regions as candidate DNA barcodes, and detected signatures of positive selection in the petB ...
