A Soft Microrobot for Single‐Cell Transport, Spheroid Assembly, and Dual‐Mode Drug Screening

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
A soft, untethered hydrogel microrobot enables precise single‐cell delivery, self‐assembly into 3D spheroids, and real‐time thermal actuation. Driven by light‐induced convection and embedded with gold nanorods and temperature sensors, the microrobot guides cells, modulates local microenvironments, and supports drug testing.

Flexible, Integrated‐Porous Microneedle Sensor for Biofluid Sampling and On‐Site Biomarker Detection

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Technologies, EarlyView.
A paper‐integrated porous PGA microneedle array patch capable of both high strength and absorption capacity is proposed. With an image‐processing system, an optimized colorimetric sensor achieves a low limit of detection of 0.09 mm in cholesterol.

Modelling the multiple sclerosis disease using stochastic petri nets

open access: yes, 2011
Multiple Sclerosis is an inflammatory demyelinating disorder of the Central Nervous System. It is an autoimmune disease that its causes are still not clarified. The demyelization of the neural axons leads to the physical and cognitive disability of the patient.

Impact of water stress on Phaeomoniella chlamydospora abundance and Petri disease symptom development in young grapevines

open access: yesOENO One
Phaeomoniella chlamydospora (Pch) is one of the main pathogens causing Petri disease, a grapevine trunk disease responsible for the decline and mortality of grapevines within a few years after planting.

Femtosecond‐Laser‐Fabricated 3D CYTOP Microfluidic Chips Enabling Super‐Resolution Live Imaging of Cell Behavior in Confined Microspaces

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Technologies, EarlyView.
Using two‐photon polymerization of SU‐8 together with mold processing allowed the creation of defect‐free, flexible 3D microfluidic structures with sub‐micrometer precision in CYTOP. The fabricated CYTOP microfluidic chips enabled super‐resolution imaging of cancer cells in the microchannels, clearly visualizing previously undetectable fine structural ...

Effects of inoculum potential on screening for resistance to Plasmodiophora brassicae in greenhouse trials

open access: yesActa Agrobotanica, 2013
Several factors, including growth medium, inoculum density, and inoculum storage affected the reaction of resistant and susceptible Brassicas to Plasmodiophora brassicae in the greenhouse. A high level of disease was achieved using Peat-litte mix R and a
