Characterization of Salmonella enterica Isolates from Diseased Poultry in Northern China between 2014 and 2018

open access: yesPathogens, 2020
Salmonella infection not only causes acute and chronic diseases in poultry flocks, but the infected poultry are among the most important reservoirs for a variety of Salmonella serovars frequently transmitted to humans. This study aimed to investigate the

Division of Human Listeria monocytogenes Pulsed-Field Gel Electrophoresis (PFGE) Types Belonging to Lineage I (Serovar 4b, 1/2b, and 3b) into PFGE Groups [PDF]

open access: yes, 2015
The 63 pulsed-field gel electrophoresis (PFGE) types identified among 427 clinical isolates of Listeria monocytogenes that were characterized in a previous study by serotyping and PFGE (AscI) could be further divided into 17 PFGE groups.

PFGE of outbreak associated isolates. [PDF]

open access: yes, 2013
PFGE of E. coli O103:H25 NOS (lane 2), NVH-847 (lane 3), NVH-848 (lane 4), and NVH-760 (lane 5). Lambda ladder is used as marker (lane 1). Digestion with XbaI (A) showed indistinguishable PFGE patterns, while digestion with AvrII (B) exposed a difference

Genetic Diversity in Pseudomonas syringae pv. maculicola Strains

open access: yesJournal of Pure and Applied Microbiology, 2018
Pseudomonas syringae pv. maculicola (Psm) is a phytopathogen of a wide range of host plants from the cruciferae family, producing blight. Some strains infect Arabidopsis thaliana, whose genetic characteristics has made it a plant model for analyses of ...

Molecular typing ofMalasseziaspecies with PFGE and RAPD [PDF]

open access: yesMedical Mycology, 1998
The currently recognized seven species of Malassezia all have different karyotypes which do not vary intraspecifically, except in M. furfur which displayed two different karyotypes. In contrast, random amplified polymorphic DNA (RAPD) typing showed the presence of genetic variation in all species.

Characterisation of Salmonella choleraesuis by PFGE and ribotypig

open access: yesInternational Conference on the Epidemiology and Control of Biological, Chemical and Physical Hazards in Pigs and Pork, 2003
Salmonella (S.) Choleraesuis var. Kunzendorf is the major cause of swine salmonellosis in Poland. Eleven XbaI macrorestriction profiles and 3 ribotypes were noted amongst 36 isolates tested. Index of discrimination reached 0.88. Two clonal lineages were distinguished.
