SWI/SNF Antagonism of PRC2 Mediates Estrogen-Induced Progesterone Receptor Expression

open access: yesCells, 2022
Endometrial cancer (EC) is characterized by high estrogen levels unopposed by progesterone. Treatment with progestins is standard for early EC, but the response to progestins is dependent on progesterone receptor (PGR) expression.

Association among pasture-level variables and grazing dairy cow responses to supplementary feeds : a thesis presented in partial fulfilment of the requirements for the degree of Master of Science in Animal Science at Massey University, Manawatū, New Zealand [PDF]

open access: yes, 2018
The milk production response to additional feed (i.e., supplement) is dependent on the relative feed deficit (RFD) of the cow. We hypothesized that the relative feed deficit could be defined by post-grazing residual (PGR), with a greater PGR indicating

A Soft Robotic Device for Targeted Massage Therapy of Residual Limbs

open access: yesAdvanced Robotics Research, EarlyView.
Residual limb edema after amputation can hinder recovery and delay prosthetic fitting. This study presents a soft‐robotic wearable device that delivers sequential compression through pneumatic McKibben actuators. By replicating the principles of manual lymphatic drainage, the device generates controlled mechanotherapeutic pressure patterns, providing a

Response of Prosopis koelziana Burkart to in vitro culture and salt stress [PDF]

open access: yesفیزیولوژی محیطی گیاهی, 2007
Effect of explants source, plant growth regulator and NaCl on organogenesis and proline accumulation in prosopis Kolziana, salt tolerant species, were studied. Meristem, young leaf, and cotyledon separated from in vitro seedling.

A Nanoparticle‐Integrated Complete Manufacturing Pipeline of Chemically Engineered Exosomes

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
We report a novel manufacture technology of chemically engineered exosomes. The four steps of manufacturing, i.e., biogenesis, loading, isolation, and storage, are integrated by the use of a nanoparticle. The manufacture technology incorporates three innovative components, i.e., a new nano‐bio effect, a new composite nanoparticle, and a new isolation ...

Sex Differences in the Effects of Etonogestrel on Respiratory Recovery in an In Vivo Rat Model of Central Chemoreflex Impairment. [PDF]

open access: yesActa Physiol (Oxf)
ABSTRACT Aim Rhythmic breathing movements driven by the brainstem rely on chemosensory inputs to homeostatically adjust motor output to the prevailing metabolic demand. The central CO2 chemoreflex is a critical component of this neural circuitry, as defects in these sensors cause hypoventilation syndromes, which are typically difficult to manage ...

Targeting PRKCN, an Essential Driver Orchestrating mTOR‐IRF4 Axis Independently of Kinase Activity, in Multiple Myeloma

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Constitutive PRKCN expression is driven by super‐enhancers and modulated by NF‐κB signaling in multiple myeloma (MM). PRKCN activates mTORC1/2‐IRF4 signaling axis and favors tumor cell growth independently of its kinase activity. IRF4 reciprocally promotes PRKCN transcription, creating a feed‐forward loop.
