pH-Responsive DNA Motif: From Rational Design to Analytical Applications
pH-responsive DNA motifs have attracted substantial attention attributed to their high designability and versatility of DNA chemistry. Such DNA motifs typically exploit DNA secondary structures that exhibit pH response properties because of the presence ...

Flow of pH-responsive microcapsules in porous media [PDF]
This article investigates the use micro-capsules, containing a gelling agent hydroxypropyl cellulose (HPC), to alter flow paths in porous media. The aim is to preferentially block-off high permeability regions, thereby diverting the flow into adjacent un-

Electrostatically gated membrane permeability in inorganic protocells [PDF]
Although several strategies are now available to produce functional microcompartments analogous to primitive cell-like structures, little progress has been made in generating protocell constructs with self-controlled membrane permeability.

Fluorescent probes allow dynamic visualization of phosphoinositides in living cells (left), whereas mass spectrometry provides high‐sensitivity, isomer‐resolved quantitation (right). Their synergistic use captures complementary aspects of lipid signaling. This review illustrates how these approaches reveal the spatiotemporal regulation and quantitative

Ph-Responsive Immunomodulatory Hydrogel For Periodontitis
Aim or purpose: Targeting periodontitis from plaque biofilms causing tissue damage and acidity, and poor conventional drug delivery, this study developed a pH-responsive injectable hydrogel to suppress inflammation via pH-triggered release, providing a ...

Superelastic and pH-Responsive Degradable Dendrimer Cryogels Prepared by Cryo-aza-Michael Addition Reaction [PDF]
Dendrimers exhibit super atomistic features by virtue of their well-defined discrete quantized nanoscale structures. Here, we show that hyperbranched amine-terminated polyamidoamine (PAMAM) dendrimer G4.0 reacts with linear polyethylene glycol (PEG ...

This study reveals how the mitochondrial protein Slm35 is regulated in Saccharomyces cerevisiae. The authors identify stress‐responsive DNA elements and two upstream open reading frames (uORFs) in the 5′ untranslated region of SLM35. One uORF restricts translation, and its mutation increases Slm35 protein levels and mitophagy.

pH-Responsive Nanoparticles for Drug Delivery [PDF]
First-generation nanoparticles (NPs) have been clinically translated as pharmaceutical drug delivery carriers for their ability to improve on drug tolerability, circulation half-life, and efficacy. Toward the development of the next-generation NPs, researchers have designed novel multifunctional platforms for sustained release, molecular targeting, and
