Preparative separation of seven polyphenols from Perillae Folium via pH-zone-refining counter-current chromatography combined with high-speed counter-current chromatography

Analytical Methods, 2021
A separation method using pH-ZRCCC combined with HSCCC was proposed to separate the crude sample of Perillae Folium with different constituents and polarity, and three phenolic acids and four flavonoid glycosides were isolated successfully.

pH-Zone-refining counter-current chromatography of lappaconitine from Aconitum sinomontanum Nakai

Journal of Chromatography A, 2001
pH-Zone-refining counter-current chromatography was applied to the separation of diterpenoid alkaloids from a crude sample from a crude prepurified sample containing lappaconitine at about 90% purity using a multilayer coil planet centrifuge.

Separation of alkaloids by pH-zone-refining counter-current chromatography

Journal of Chromatography A, 1994
pH-Zone-refining counter-current chromatography was applied to the separation of alkaloids from a crude extract of Crinum moorei using a multilayer coil planet centrifuge. After methyl tert.-butyl ether and water were equilibrated, triethylamine (5-10 mM) was added to the organic phase and hydrochloric acid (5-10 mM) to the aqueous phase.

A sample pretreatment strategy for pH-zone-refining counter-current chromatography

Journal of Chromatography A, 2013
A sample pretreatment method using acid-base extraction was established for pH-zone-refining counter-current chromatography (CCC) to increase the yield of the target compound. As the most important step, selection of two-phase solvent system for pH-zone-refining CCC should follow some rules.

Separation of peptide derivatives by pH-zone-refining counter-current chromatography

Journal of Chromatography A, 1995
pH-Zone-refining counter-current chromatography was applied to the preparative separation of oligopeptide derivatives containing up to three amino acids. Both acidic benzyloxycarbonyl peptides and basic peptides-beta-naphthylamide were successfully separated with two-phase solvent systems composed of methyl tert.-butyl ether, 1-butanol, acetonitrile ...

Preparative enantioseparation of synephrine by conventional and pH-zone-refining counter-current chromatography

Journal of Chromatography A, 2018
Synephrine, a chiral adrenergic agonist, exists as R- (more active) and S-enantiomers (less active) that are difficult to separate because of their alkalinity and high polarity. Herein, we show that although this enantioseparation can hardly be achieved by high-performance liquid chromatography, acceptable preparative separation can be realized using ...
