(S)‐ibuprofen or ketoprofen were used to resolve mefloquine, forming double salts structurally similar to the racemic forms. ABSTRACT The formation of salts remains a highly sought‐after yet unpredictable strategy for resolving chiral drugs. Using a drug–drug approach, we have investigated the crystallization behavior of Mefloquine (Mf), a racemic ...

Abstract Coenzyme Q10 (CoQ10) is a naturally occurring biochemical cofactor found in all human cell membranes in two interconvertible forms: oxidized ubiquinone and reduced ubiquinol. Clinical studies indicate that different CoQ10 formulations have different absorption rates, highlighting research comparing their systemic bioavailability.

Dissolution Advantage of Nitazoxanide Cocrystals in the Presence of Cellulosic Polymers
The effect of hydroxypropyl methylcellulose (HPMC) and methylcellulose (Methocel® 60 HG) on the dissolution behavior of two cocrystals derived from nitazoxanide (NTZ), viz., nitazoxanide-glutaric acid (NTZ-GLU, 1:1) and nitazoxanide-succinic acid ...

Direct‐to‐Biology: Streamlining the Path From Chemistry to Biology in Drug Discovery
Crude yet clever: Direct‐to‐biology workflows exploit nanoscale synthesis and plate‐based assays to accelerate hit discovery, save precious intermediates, and rethink early drug discovery. Direct‐to‐biology (D2B) has emerged as a transformative concept in early drug discovery, defined by the direct on‐target screening of crude reaction mixtures without

Supramolecular synthon hierarchy in sulfonamide cocrystals with syn-amides and N-oxides
Sulfonamide drugs are well known antibacterial and antimicrobial molecules for pharmaceutical development. Building a library of suitable supramolecular synthons for the sulfonamide functional group and understanding their crystal structures with partner

This study reports a novel targeted protein degradation strategy termed “HSP70‐PROTAC” that recruits Hsc70 complex to a target protein for inducing degradation. Among them, GDAz‐3 exhibits effective GPX4 degradation activity via UPS/CMA processes, triggering ferroptosis‐driven anticancer activity in vitro and in vivo.

Larvicidal Activity of Naringenin: Betaine Cocrystals Against Aedes Aegypti
This study demonstrates that naringenin: betaine cocrystals significantly enhance larvicidal activity against Aedes aegypti compared to physical mixtures or pure compounds. Improved dissolution properties contributed to higher mortality rates, supporting the use of cocrystallization as a promising green technology for vector management.
