Modulated phase-shifting for 3D scanning

We present a new 3D scanning method using modulated phase-shifting. Optical scanning of complex objects or scenes with significant global light transport, such as subsurface scattering, interreflections, volumetric scattering, etc. is a difficult task since the direct surface reflection will be mixed with the global illumination.

Reactance Tube Modulation of Phase Shift Oscillators

This paper describes a basic circuit for reactance tube modulation of phase shift oscillators. The design of suitable phase shift oscillators for frequencies from audio through the ultra-high frequencies is discussed. Experimental performance data derived from several types of frequency modulated phase shift oscillators are presented.

New phase shift modulator for resonant converters

Resonant converters are important in the search for high efficiency energy use and low electromagnetic interference (EMI). In this paper, nonlinarities of the traditional phase shift modulator (PSM) application to resonant converters are addressed. A new modulator topology, suited for resonant converters, is proposed.
