Circuit for Balancing Harmonic-Polluted Three-Phase Networks [PDF]
Summary: This paper presents a new circuit capable of balancing harmonics-polluted three-phase power networks supplying single-phase loads. it takes into account the negative and positive sequences exhibited by the fifth and seventh harmonics ...

Proteostasis and the gut microbiota play a key role in shaping host physiology. Microbiota‐derived metabolites, vitamins, and RNA modulate host proteostasis. Findings from model systems, including C. elegans, indicate microbes can either stabilize or disrupt host proteostasis.

From mice to humans—divergent strategies for intestinal homeostasis and regeneration
Recent advances such as organoid genome editing, xenotransplantation, imaging, and whole‐genome sequencing have enabled direct studies of human intestinal stem cells (ISCs). These studies reveal species‐specific features, including slower ISC proliferation, distinct injury responses, slower somatic mutation accumulation in humans, and an inverse ...

α‐Synuclein aggregation landscape from phase separation to neurotoxic intermediates
Alpha‐synuclein aggregation in Parkinson's disease involves a complex landscape of transient intermediates, including oligomers, fibrils and liquid–liquid phase separation (LLPS). A view is emerging in which LLPS maturation into solid‐like condensates may contribute to the formation of neurotoxic species.

Phase transitions in project scheduling. [PDF]
The analysis of the complexity of combinatorial optimization problems has led to the distinction between problems which are solvable in a polynomially bounded amount of time (classified in P) and problems which are not (classified in NP).

Acceleration from a phase of entropic balance
Abstract We discuss the notion of generating a cosmic inflation without any big bang singularity. It has recently been proved by Good and Linder (arXiv:2503.02380 [gr-qc]) that such an expansion of the universe can be driven by quantum fluctuations embedded in vacuum.

Inositol pyrophosphates are energy‐rich signaling molecules that perform critical functions in cells. Three different families of phosphatases hydrolyze the β phosphate of the inositol pyrophosphate molecules: two have narrow specificities and one is promiscuous.

Possibilities of Simulation of a Technical Line which is subject to the Balancing Process [PDF]
Technical line balancing is a mean of economic efficiency increasing of some industrial activities. Essentially, to balance a technical line means to organize human operator's activity, to establish manufacturing flux, to project the line so to minimize ...

Design and analysis strategies for robust microbiome ageing research
The gut microbiome changes with age and associates with age‐related morbidity and mortality, establishing it as a potential biomarker and intervention target for ageing. Realising this potential requires methodological rigour, yet distinguishing biological signals from methodological artefacts remains challenging across cohorts. This review provides an
