We identified a systemic, progressive loss of protein S‐glutathionylation—detected by nonreducing western blotting—alongside dysregulation of glutathione‐cycle enzymes in both neuronal and peripheral tissues of Taiwanese SMA mice. These alterations were partially rescued by SMN antisense oligonucleotide therapy, revealing persistent redox imbalance as ...

A Load-Balance System Design of Microgrid Cluster Based on Hierarchical Petri Nets
In the new paradigm of urban microgrids, load-balancing control becomes essential to ensure the balance and quality of energy consumption. Thus, phase-load balance method becomes an alternative solution in the absence of distributed generation sources ...

Tau acetylation at K331 has limited impact on tau pathology in vivo
We mapped tau post‐translational modifications in humanized MAPT knock‐in mice and in amyloid‐bearing double knock‐in mice. Acetylation within the repeat domain, particularly around K331, showed modest increases under amyloid pathology. To test functional relevance, we generated MAPTK331Q knock‐in mice.

This paper presents a novel single-phase grid-tied neutral-point-clamped (NPC) five-level converter (SPFLC). Unlike the literature on five-level NPC topologies, the proposed one is capable of inherently balancing the voltage of the DC-link split ...

A Novel Active Phase Router for Dynamic Load Balancing in a Three Phase Microgrid [PDF]
This paper presents a novel active phase router for dynamic load balancing in a three-phase system. Uneven distribution of single phase loads may result in current unbalances among the three-phase lines.

Diversity and complexity in neural organoids
Neural organoid research aims to expand genetic diversity on one side and increase tissue complexity on the other. Chimeroids integrate multiple donor genomes within single organoids. Self‐organising multi‐identity organoids, exogenous cell seeding, or enforced assembly of region‐specific organoids contribute to tissue complexity.

Design of a lithium battery management system based on hybrid active-passive balancing [PDF]
To address the issues of reduced available capacity and shortened lifespan in lithium battery packs caused by inconsistent capacities of individual cells, this paper proposes a lithium battery management system based on hybrid passive-active balancing ...

Integrated Design of Electrical Distribution Systems: Phase Balancing and Phase Prediction Case Studies [PDF]
Distribution system analysis and design has experienced a gradual development over the past three decades. The once loosely assembled and largely ad hoc procedures have been progressing toward being well-organized.

Embryo‐like structures (stembryos) are an innovative tool, but they are hindered by experimental variability and limited developmental potential. DNA methylation is crucial for mammalian development, but its status in stembryo models is poorly characterized.
