Higher Order Transport of Intensity Equation Methods: Comparisons and Their Hybrid Application for Noise Adaptive Phase Imaging

open access: yesIEEE Photonics Journal, 2019
As a non-interferometric method, the transport of intensity equation (TIE) method suits for quantitative phase imaging with the commercial microscope platform, especially those higher order TIE approaches which can realize precise phase retrieval by ...

Complete phase retrieval of photoelectron wavepackets

open access: yesNew Journal of Physics, 2020
Coherent, broadband pulses of extreme ultraviolet light provide a new and exciting tool for exploring attosecond electron dynamics. Using photoelectron streaking, interferometric spectrograms can be generated that contain a wealth of information about ...

Stable Signal Recovery from Phaseless Measurements

open access: yes, 2015
The aim of this paper is to study the stability of the $\ell_1$ minimization for the compressive phase retrieval and to extend the instance-optimality in compressed sensing to the real phase retrieval setting. We first show that the $m={\mathcal O}(k\log(

Targeted modulation of IGFL2‐AS1 reveals its translational potential in cervical adenocarcinoma

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Cervical adenocarcinoma patients face worse outcomes than squamous cell carcinoma counterparts despite similar treatment. The identification of IGFL2‐AS1's differential expression provides a molecular basis for distinguishing these histotypes, paving the way for personalized therapies and improved survival in vulnerable populations globally.

Low-Bit-Depth Detection for Phase Retrieval with Higher Efficiency in Holographic Data Storage

open access: yesPhotonics
In the past, comprehensive information was imperative for image processing, prompting a preference for high-depth cameras. However, in our research, we discovered that the abundance of image details may impede phase retrieval.

Network divergence analysis identifies adaptive gene modules and two orthogonal vulnerability axes in pancreatic cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Tumors contain diverse cellular states whose behavior is shaped by context‐dependent gene coordination. By comparing gene–gene relationships across biological contexts, we identify adaptive transcriptional modules that reorganize into distinct vulnerability axes.

Phase retrieval and norm retrieval

open access: yes, 2014
Phase retrieval has become a very active area of research. We will classify when phase retrieval by Parseval frames passes to the Naimark complement and when phase retrieval by projections passes to the orthogonal complements. We introduce a new concept we call norm retrieval and show that this is what is necessary for passing phase retrieval to ...

RIPK4 function interferes with melanoma cell adhesion and metastasis

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
RIPK4 promotes melanoma growth and spread. RIPK4 levels increase as skin lesions progress to melanoma. CRISPR/Cas9‐mediated deletion of RIPK4 causes melanoma cells to form less compact spheroids, reduces their migratory and invasive abilities and limits tumour growth and dissemination in mouse models.
