We have established a humanized orthotopic patient‐derived xenograft (Hu‐oPDX) mouse model of high‐grade serous ovarian cancer (HGSOC) that recapitulates human tumor–immune interactions. Using combined anti‐PD‐L1/anti‐CD73 immunotherapy, we demonstrate the model's improved biological relevance and enhanced translational value for preclinical ...

Phase separation in lithium intercalated anatase: A theory
Lithium intercalated anatase used in Li-ion batteries has some special features: coexistence of Li-rich and Li-poor phases as well as two possible positions for Li ions in the oxygen tetrahedron.

Invariant theory and orientational phase transitions
The Landau theory of phase transitions has been productively applied to phase transitions that involve rotational symmetry breaking, such as the transition from an isotropic fluid to a nematic liquid crystal. It even can be applied to the orientational symmetry breaking of simple atomic or molecular clusters that are not true phase transitions. In this

Line-start permanent-magnet motor: single-phase starting performance analysis [PDF]
This paper presents a detailed quasi-steady-state approach to different torque components (average and pulsating) for a single-phase capacitor-run permanent-magnet (PM) motor.

In the present work, we have identified a transcriptional signature based on the differential expression of six genes (BCL2&MAST4, HSH2D&LAT2, METRN&PITPNM2) that would facilitate the early detection of T‐cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia (T‐ALL) patients prone to a poor treatment response and could be implemented at diagnosis, along with other risk ...

Fully Consistent Finite-Strain Landau Theory for High-Pressure Phase Transitions
Landau theory (LT) is an indispensable cornerstone in the thermodynamic description of phase transitions. As with structural transitions, most applications require one to consistently take into account the role of strain.

The SU(3) deconfinement phase transition in the presence of quarks
Hasenfratz P, Karsch F, Stamatescu IO. The SU(3) deconfinement phase transition in the presence of quarks. Physics Letters, B. 1983;133(3-4):221-226.The fate of the deconfinement phase transition is studied as a function of the quark mass on a 8 3 × 2 ...

CCDC80 suppresses high‐grade serous ovarian cancer migration via negative regulation of B7‐H3
PAX8 is a lineage‐specific master regulator of transcription in high‐grade serous ovarian cancer (HGSC) progression. We show for the first time that PAX8 facilitates proliferation and metastasis by repressing the cell autonomous tumor suppressor CCDC80 and inducing B7‐H3 expression.

Single-Phase Power Theory Using Orthogonal Transformations
The paper deals with the new method of power analysis of single-phase power electronic systems. Using a new particular transform theory the ordinary single-phase system can be transformed into equivalent two-axis orthogonal one.
