Bu çalışma, fasulye bitkisinde otopoliploidinin uyartılmasına yönelik planlanmıştır. Çalışmada yerel fasulye populasyonu kullanılmış, In vivo uygulamalarla poliploidi oluşumu teşvik edilmeye çalışılmıştır. Bu yöntemde iki farklı depolimerizasyon ajanı kullanılarak, başlangıçta letal dozlar araştırılmıştır.

Obični grah (Phaseolus vulgaris L.) spada u rod Fabales i porodicu Fabaceae koja se pored običnog graha sastoji od još nekoliko jestivih vrsta graha. Cvijetovi običnog graha nalaze se u grozdastim cvatovima sa 5-6 cvijetova. Plod graha je dvokrilna mahuna , nastala od jednog plodničkog lista.
