Tau acetylation at K331 has limited impact on tau pathology in vivo
We mapped tau post‐translational modifications in humanized MAPT knock‐in mice and in amyloid‐bearing double knock‐in mice. Acetylation within the repeat domain, particularly around K331, showed modest increases under amyloid pathology. To test functional relevance, we generated MAPTK331Q knock‐in mice.

Dynamic load shedding and system restoration using wide area distribution management system
The demand for electric power has consistently been on the rise, owing to urbanisation and technological improvements. On the generation side, renewable sources have been favoured over their polluting, exhaustible, non‐renewable counterparts.

Inverter Model Validation and Calibration Using Phasor Measurement Unit Data
As the penetration of inverter-based renewable energy resources increases in the power grid, especially at the distribution and microgrid levels, the need to accurately represent them in planning studies increases as well.

Biomolecular condensates formed by fused in sarcoma (FUS) are dissolved by high ATP concentrations yet persist in cells. Using a reconstituted system, we demonstrate that valosin‐containing protein (VCP), an AAA+ ATPase, counteracts ATP‐driven dissolution of FUS condensates through its D2 ATPase activity.

Dual targeting of RET and SRC synergizes in RET fusion‐positive cancer cells
Despite the strong activity of selective RET tyrosine kinase inhibitors (TKIs), resistance of RET fusion‐positive (RET+) lung cancer and thyroid cancer frequently occurs and is mainly driven by RET‐independent bypass mechanisms. Son et al. show that SRC TKIs significantly inhibit PAK and AKT survival signaling and enhance the efficacy of RET TKIs in ...

Protection of Microgrid Feeders Using Impedance Angle Analysis Assisted by Synchrophasor Units [PDF]
The healthy operation of a microgrid is a more challenging task due to the inclusion of various distribution generation (DG) sources. The incorporation of a grid with various distributed sources alters the radial structure of the network, making it ...

Parameter estimation based on the measurement data of the phasor measurement unit (PMU) is an important approach for identifying the Thévenin equivalent parameters (TEPs) of power systems. However, in the process of acquiring or transmitting data in PMU,

Performance Analysis of Generator Dynamic State Estimation under Uncertain Measurement
Random errors are unavoidable in phasor measurement unit (PMU), and the PMU measurement data may be uncertain in actual power system, such as delay, reordering or even missing.
