Test platform for analysis and development of Phasor Measurement Units (PMU)
2016 12th IEEE International Conference on Industry Applications (INDUSCON), 2016This paper presents the development of a platform for automatically testing Phasor Measurement Units (PMU). In order to develop such platform, it is proposed a multitasking application for PMUs testing in accordance to the Synchrophasors Measurement Standard IEEE C37.118.1-2011.

Test engineers initiated a series of artificial short-circuit faults to test the line installation. As an experiment, the steady-state and transient responses of the power system were recorded.
