A Multi-Objective Robust State Estimator for Systems Measured by Phasor Measurement Units
Conventional state estimators, such as the weighted least squares estimator, have been widely employed for state estimation in power systems. However, these methods have difficulty addressing the leverage effect and rejecting erroneous measurements ...

A synthetic benzoxazine dimer derivative targets c‐Myc to inhibit colorectal cancer progression
Benzoxazine dimer derivatives bind to the bHLH‐LZ region of c‐Myc, disrupting c‐Myc/MAX complexes, which are evaluated from SAR analysis. This increases ubiquitination and reduces cellular c‐Myc. Impairing DNA repair mechanisms is shown through proteomic analysis.

Subsynchronous oscillation monitoring and alarm method based on phasor measurements
Owing to the large-scale grid connection of new energy sources, several installed power electronic devices introduce sub-/supersynchronous inter-harmonics into power signals, resulting in the frequent occurrence of subsynchronous oscillations (SSOs). The

An Approximately Optimal Algorithm for Scheduling Phasor Data Transmissions in Smart Grid Networks
In this paper, we devise a scheduling algorithm for ordering transmission of synchrophasor data from the substation to the control center in as short a time frame as possible, within the realtime hierarchical communications infrastructure in the electric

Survivin and Aurora Kinase A control cell fate decisions during mitosis
Aurora A interacts with survivin during mitosis and regulates its centromeric role. Loss of Aurora A activity mislocalises survivin, the CPC and BubR1, leading to disruption of the spindle checkpoint and triggering premature mitotic exit, which we refer to as ‘mitotic slippage’.

Dual targeting of RET and SRC synergizes in RET fusion‐positive cancer cells
Despite the strong activity of selective RET tyrosine kinase inhibitors (TKIs), resistance of RET fusion‐positive (RET+) lung cancer and thyroid cancer frequently occurs and is mainly driven by RET‐independent bypass mechanisms. Son et al. show that SRC TKIs significantly inhibit PAK and AKT survival signaling and enhance the efficacy of RET TKIs in ...
