Study on the Reaction Mechanism of RuOx and Its Enhanced Hydrogen Evolution Reaction Activity

In situ Raman spectroscopy and DFT calculations reveal that, prior to the onset of HER, the surface of RuOx undergoes reversible reduction and structural reconstruction. The resulting Ru(II)O/Ru(IV)O2 configuration is identified as the true catalytically active species.

Multiscale perspectives on how excess charges in soft lead halide perovskites induce operational instability in photovoltaic devices are presented. Localized carriers formed under thermodynamic non‐equilibrium states modify atomistic interactions and drive lattice distortions, accelerating device degradation.

Determining the Protective Effects of Long‐Term Physical Activity, Exercise, Mental Health, and Employment on Sarcopenia—A Result of a Feasibility Study of a Registry

This study highlights that physical activity, employment, and mental health significantly influence sarcopenia risk in healthy adults. Working part‐time or full‐time and exercising, especially sports like swimming, alongside good psychological health, may be associated with reduced odds of sarcopenia.
