Gas Adsorption‐Driven Electronic Modulation in WO3@Cu3(HHTP)2 Heterostructure: Mechanistic Origin of Selective Drift Resistance Room‐Temperature Formaldehyde Sensing

open access: yesSmall, EarlyView.
A WO3@Cu3(HHTP)2 heterostructure is engineered to achieve ultra‐sensitive, drift‐resistant formaldehyde detection at room temperature. Interfacial orbital hybridization and defect modulation enable adsorption‐driven electronic tuning, resulting in ppb‐level detection, rapid response, and high selectivity.

Printing to Fight Antimicrobial Resistance Through Nano/Microstructured Platforms

open access: yesThe Chemical Record, EarlyView.
Additive manufacturing enables the rational design of structured antimicrobial platforms across multiple length scales, from nanofibrous scaffolds and droplet microreactors to 3D and 4D printed constructs. By engineering confinement, interfacial chemistry, and stimuli‐responsive release, these systems exert localized action through complementary ...

Comprehensive Evaluation of Bisphenol A Toxicity Reveals Neurobehavioral, Metabolic, and Reproductive Impairments in Girardia tigrina

open access: yesEnvironmental Toxicology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Bisphenol A (BPA), a common industrial chemical used in plastics and consumer products, is increasingly detected in aquatic environments, raising serious concerns about its potential ecological impacts. This study evaluated the sublethal and acute toxic effects of BPA on the freshwater planarian Girardia tigrina, a recognized model for ...

Hevea brasiliensis seeds: A novel sustainable feedstock for ethanol production

open access: yesVietnam Journal of Chemistry, EarlyView.
Abstract The rubber tree (Hevea brasiliensis) is cultivated on a large scale mainly for the extraction of latex in Brazil and Southeast Asia, also generating large quantities of seeds. These seeds currently do not have large‐scale applications and may thus be considered as a residue.

Root and leaf litter diversity below‐ground shape soil carbon stabilization and priming through altered decomposition dynamics

open access: yesFunctional Ecology, EarlyView.
Read the free Plain Language Summary for this article on the Journal blog. Abstract Root and leaf turnover is a major contributor to soil organic carbon (SOC) dynamics and storage. However, while roots of multiple species occur in soils, and leaves are often incorporated to soil by bioturbation processes, it remains unknown how litter mixing in soils ...
