Effect of the enzymatic inhibitor of Kunitz on the gastric lesions from reserpine, from phenylbutazone, from pyloric ligation and by restraint in the rat [PDF]
The protective effects of certain polypeptides on gastric ulcerations caused from reserpine and phenylbutazone in the rate were studied. It was found that the Kunitz enzymatic inhibitor exerts a protective action in regard to gastric lesions.

Successful treatment of an equine orosinus fistula using a titanium screw
Summary This case report outlines the long‐term successful treatment of a non‐healing orosinus fistula with placement of a 16‐mm diameter titanium screw within the compromised alveolus. A 7‐year‐old mare presented for investigation of a 2‐month long chronic right‐sided sinusitis, which had been unresponsive to several courses of broad‐spectrum ...

Polymer‐based drug delivery systems can effectively overcome the limitations of free drugs in terms of solubility, stability, and plasma half‐life, yet their development has traditionally relied on time‐consuming trial‐and‐error approaches. This review highlights recent advances in applying molecular simulation to the design of polymer‐based drug ...

Analysis of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs in milk using QuEChERS and liquid chromatography coupled to mass spectrometry: triple quadrupole versus Q-Orbitrap mass analyzers [PDF]
We developed a Quick, Easy, Cheap, Effective, Rugged, and Safe (QuEChERS) method for the high throughput determination of 10 non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) in milk samples using high performance liquid chromatography-tandem mass ...

Three phenanthrene alkaloids from Guatteria olivacea were studied by DFT, docking, MD, and cytotoxicity assays. All compounds showed stable binding to DNA–topoisomerase II and human serum albumin. Atherosperminine exhibited cytotoxic activity against four cancer cell lines, supporting its potential as a topoisomerase II inhibitor and anticancer ...
